Most of my career has been backend work nobody notices until it breaks: permission systems, data migrations, search, and the AWS bill.
At some point AI coding agents became part of my daily work. They save me hours. One of them also ran the wrong test command in the wrong repo, with total confidence. I started writing down what I learned so I'd stop fixing the same things twice.
