Day job
- Building cloud backend services at Ubiquiti in Go on AWS. Lately that's mostly permission systems and async event processing.
Side projects
- Cleaning up my Claude Code setup (memory, hooks, guard scripts) so I can open-source it as a starter kit.
- My content pipeline. It pulls from 100+ sources, has Claude score the ideas, and drafts posts into Notion.
- Lawsome, a legal tech product built on AI.
Writing
- Moved this site to Astro and redesigned it.
- Getting the newsletter ready.
- Posting on Threads in Chinese and on LinkedIn in English most weeks.
Learning
- How to judge changes written by AI agents. Speed is easy to measure. Whether the change is any good is harder.
Not doing (for now)
- No YouTube or X for now. I'd rather get the newsletter going first.
